CONEHEADZ are an emerging Australian group featuring emcees Bluntfield, East Coast Alien and Zom B Prepper with CJDDJ and Biggie Talls, blending a mix of party heavy, punk laden and frenzied narratives over crisp hip-hop production. Perth bred Bluntfield brings a socially conscious and comical approach to rap, is a four time West Australian ‘Song of the Year’ finalist, having supported Chris Webby, Dizzy Wright, Downsyde, The Four Owls, HedPE, Merkules, Ocean Wisdom, Seth Sentry and Swollen Members along with festival appearances at Fringe World, Nannup, Nimbin MardiGrass, Ningaloo, Rottofest, Sidesplitter Comedy and Southbound as well regularly featured on cult favourite ‘Comedians vs Rappers’ as well as taking out the 30 man elimination ‘War of the Words’ freestyle tournament in WA.
Logans own East Coast Alien initially established himself fronting punk bands SLOJ and Slurpee Jerks and embodying skate culture in Brisbane and is currently signed to label Bewilder Beats after touring with Butterfingers including shows at iconic venues Fortitude Music Hall, The Zoo and The Princess Theatre. ECAs debut EP ‘Breakfast of Champions’ was regularly featured on the latest season of the TV show ‘Housos’ including singles ‘Fat Sesh’, ‘Street Smart’ and ‘High To Get By’, as well as landing #30 with Bluntfield on the 4ZZZ Hottest 100 for collaborative track ‘Shut The Party Down’.
Alongside indigenous emcee and notable battle rapper Zom B Prepper as CONEHEADZ, Bluntfield and East Coast Alien embarked on their debut American tour in October “ConeHeadZ Do America” in California and Florida, previously joining Butterfingers on their ’15 Years of FIGJAM’ national tour as well co-hosting freestyle collaborative event The Jam Jar in Perth, appearances on the cult-favourite ‘Comedians vs Rappers’ at Fringe World Festival, Brisbane Rivers ‘Calamity Cult’ Boat Cruise, ‘A Hot Summers Fap’ in Margaret River, HHI Expos in Canberra and Sydney, 420 Rally at Flagstaff Gardens, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Helvegenfest, MoonDoll Festival as well as supporting The Beatnuts, Swifty McVay (D12) and Mac Lethal.
