Shadow – Perth’s own (and the mastermind behind Sorry I’m High) – unleashes an aggressive UK-inspired grime flow honed over 100+ shows supporting hip-hop heavyweights (he even rocked a sold-out Hilltop Hoods tour). MentalAz reps Melbourne with raw, no-nonsense lyricism and serious cred; his latest project features Aussie hip-hop icons like Brad Strut and Ciecmate, so you know he’s coming correct. From the Tweed, ECB Fam brings the gritty lyricism of Northern NSW’s underground, hitting you with real talk and boom-bap energy. Brisbane is double-booked to bring the ruckus: Mesc, one of Brissy’s rising stars, packs a magnetic stage presence and thought-provoking rhymes that get the crowd open, while Coneheadz (the wild duo of Bluntfield & East Coast Alien) drop weed-infused party anthems with gritty storytelling and a comical punk energy.

PigZonAcid aka Disco Pig is the co-founder of Disco Pig Events sharing all kinds of music ranging from techno, psy-trance, DnB, world and tribal all ways. Her events include the twice sold out Berlin in Bello (Techno), Drumatix (DnB, UKG and Bass, breaks) and Electro Freq Circus – A multi-genre feast taking place at M/Arts in Murwillimbah next month plus many more too numerous to mention here. This is her first time playing in Nimbin. She is looking forward to taking you on a journey like no other which will incorporate psy-trance and some hard dance/neo-rave infused with tribal and world rhythms. PigZonAcid doesn’t hold back. But listening to the sound of a metropolis, it sometimes seems to be kind of incestuous in terms of innovation and independency. In contrast, truly groundbreaking ideas often come from remote places. Meet Mitchell Storey: Based in the picturesque hinterland of New South Wales he develops his very own approach towards modern Psytrance, an approach that literally makes him the voice of a new generation of producers.
It is 2007 when the young Australian starts up the project Creten. First productions spontaneously draw attention because of their unusual usage of vocals: By rhythmically merging human voices into strong, rolling Psytrance grooves like instruments rather than classical singing, he creates an irresistible catchiness. Always quirky, kind of cartoon-like synth leads are another important trademark of him, clearly showing a healthy sense of humour. Within no time his talent is discovered by the local scene, resulting in invitations to Exodus Festival, the Nimbin MardiGrass, Collaborations Festival or Lost the Plot Festival. His music is signed on labels such as Airglow Records & Twisted Lotus Records.  When Creten presents his debut album “Dynomanic” in 2011, his career brakes through to the international scene, gigs in Switzerland mark the beginning of overseas bookings.And then playing at Earth Dance New Caledonia. Being asked to play at the international Eclipse Festival 2012 in Cairns represents another important milestone. Whenever the quirky, vocal-infused grooves of Creten boost from a sound system, his fun-loving attitude rubs off on the audience – a feature that clearly makes him one of the most up-and-coming talents of the international Psytrance scene!
