SUMMARY:Exploring the Benefits and Challenges of Organically Produced Medical Cannabis
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Simon Pettinger\, Superbly Green\nAbout: Organic medical cannabis production offers numerous benefits compared to other production methods. One of the key advantages is purity—organic grown cannabis is free from synthetic pesticides\, herbicides\, and chemical fertilizers\, ensuring a cleaner\, safer product with no harmful residues. \nAdditionally\, organic cultivation enhances the potency and efficacy. Plants grown organically often contain a richer cannabinoid and terpenoid profile. Terpenes\, which contribute to flavor\, aroma\, and therapeutic effects\, are often more pronounced in organic cannabis\, enhancing the entourage effect where cannabinoids and terpenes work together. \nSustainability is another significant factor—organic farming prioritizes soil health and minimizes environmental harm. This results in an eco-friendly production process with a lower environmental footprint. \nWhile organic cannabis production comes with challenges—such as higher costs\, increased labor\, and smaller yields due to the reliance on natural pest control and soil management—the benefits far outweigh these hurdles. Despite the added effort\, the rewards of purity\, richness\, and sustainability make the investment worthwhile. \nThis talk will explore the benefits and challenges of organically producing medical cannabis\, with a special focus on the living soil production system at Cymra Life Sciences. \nBio: Simon Pettinger is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and co-founder of Cymra Life Sciences\, an Australian company specializing in organic pharmaceutical products derived from medical cannabis\, based in the Northern Rivers. Simon has been instrumental in the company’s growth since its founding in 2017. He oversees operations\, including tissue culture services\, breeding programs\, and horticultural research partnerships with Southern Cross University. \nBefore Cymra\, Simon served as Managing Director of Australia’s largest plant tissue culture facility for over a decade\, gaining extensive experience in indoor plant propagation and commercial development. \nSimon is passionate about producing the highest quality products for patients through an organic\, biologically driven production system. This method enhances cannabis’s medicinal properties while ensuring it is free from harmful chemicals and produced sustainably. His leadership drives Cymra’s mission to improve patient quality of life through organic innovative therapies.

SUMMARY:HempStone hands on workshop
DESCRIPTION:Host: Martin Ernegg\nAbout: An activity for the whole family! Using non-toxic\, environmentally friendly products. Introducing an innovative\, sustainable modelling compound Hempstone made from hemp fibre and water and nothing else! Imagine a world where children can mould\, shape\, and create to their heart’s content\, all while respecting our planet. That’s exactly what our sustainable paper-mache offers. By using hemp fibre\, water and nothing else we’ve created a product that is not only safe but also gentle on the environment. \nBio: Martin began his work as a molecular sculptor in 1986 in Austria. His work included creating building materials from cardboard and paper and cloth. Returning to his home\, Australia\, Martin created Hempstone by grinding hemp mache into its individual molecules and then realigning the molecules so their ‘faces’ are perfectly aligned. Martin has now begun grinding raw hemp bast into Hempstone and molding artifacts of great practical use and beauty. In association with NRHGC Martin is building a workshop to make Hempstone artifacts and share his knowledge with the farmers who will take his work further.

SUMMARY:Cultural Frameworks of Psychedelics
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Sianna-Rose “Pixie” Miller\, Psychedelically Aware (The PATCH)\nAbout: The psychedelic experience is heavily influenced by the cultural frameworks they are used in. As we enter a new era of psychedelics being more broadly used in both clinical settings and by underground facilitators\, there are many social and ethical considerations that must be addressed. Due to the prolonged stigmatisation of using psychedelics in Western societies\, we need to build a new cultural framework. There are many deep-seated issues of colonialism which include intellectual property theft\, environmental impacts\, psychedelic tourism and the use of “cultural wisdom” from Indigenous peoples. This permeates through the history of psychoactive species being patented for commercialisation in the pharmaceutical industry to the new age psychedelic facilitators and now psychedelic assisted therapy. The way in which people historically took psychoactive plants and fungi was rooted within community\, where integration was supported by those who knew us intimately. Capitalism has fuelled a lucrative legal and illegal market for psychedelics to be taken with strangers for the purpose of healing or exploration. The hype surrounding psychedelics can lead to devastating outcomes if we are not careful in how this unfolds. For many the costs of legal psychedelic assisted therapy is currently out of reach\, further driving the underground market. This also raises the important matter of the need for decriminalisation of psychedelics which can aid in creating safer environments for people to take them. As such\, how the emerging frameworks for psychedelic use take shape is a discussion we should all participate in. \nBio: Sianna-Rose “Pixie” Miller is the founder of Psychedelically Aware\, a harm minimisation group and The PATCH – The Psychedelically Aware Talking Circle Hub. Having studied psychology and health science with a focus on neuroscience\, she has a broad understanding of how entheogens affect both the body and mind. Pixie is passionate about research and how entheogens could be used in therapeutic models. Currently\, her pursuit of harm minimisation through Psychedelically Aware and The PATCH has led to ongoing community discussions and education. The PATCH holds regular online talking circles on harm minimisation strategies within the psychedelic community. Psychedelically Aware draws upon interdisciplinary knowledge to collaborate on community-led initiatives and create of educational resources which allows the potential of entheogens to shine in safer ways.

SUMMARY:Why is cannabis legalised in so much of the United States\, but not here?
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Dr Patrick Keyzer\nAbout: Opinion surveys demonstrate there is widespread support for decriminalisation and legalisation of adult\, recreational cannabis use in Australia. Why hasn’t this happened yet\, when most US states have taken steps in this direction? In this lecture\, Dr Keyzer will explain why key features of our constitutional\, legal and political system are really quite different to the U.S.\, and how these differences impede reform here. \nBio: Dr Pat is a lawyer and academic specialising in access to justice\, constitutional law and human rights. He advocates criminal justice reform.

SUMMARY:The Real Amanita Muscaria: Science\, Safety\, and Ancient Insight
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Mel Smith\nAbout: Amanita muscaria is one of the most iconic yet misunderstood mushrooms. From fairy tale illustrations to exaggerated warnings\, this fungus has long been caught between folklore and fear. In this presentation\, Mel Smith brings grounded information and personal insight to a topic often clouded by misinformation and stigma. \nWith years of dedicated study and formulation development\, Mel shares what she’s learned about Amanita muscaria’s traditional uses\, pharmacology\, and its emerging relevance as a functional food—particularly in relation to behavioural patterns and overall wellbeing. She is currently leading a national observational study within the fitness industry to explore how this ancient fungus – in formulation – may contribute to\, consistency\, resilience\, and elevated wellness. While no data will be presented\, Mel will discuss the study’s aims and the growing interest in this area. \nAs interest in Amanita muscaria rises globally so does the need for accurate\, balanced information. This presentation aims to replace fear with clarity\, and caution with context. This session is for educational purposes only and does not promote the use of Amanita muscaria where it is prohibited. Its goal is to support a more informed\, responsible\, and forward-thinking conversation. \nIt’s also important to note: Amanita muscaria is legal in many countries\, including parts of Europe and the United States\, where it is increasingly being explored for its many benefits. Australia is falling behind in this conversation by continuing to frame this organism through outdated lenses. \nWhether you’re a practitioner\, educator\, or simply curious\, this is a safe and intelligent space to reframe what you thought you knew about Amanita muscaria\, or contribute to the conversation—and to explore how science and tradition can work together to bring ancient allies into modern relevance. \nBio: With many years dedicated to the study of Amanita muscaria\, Mel brings a grounded and informed approach to one of the world’s most misunderstood fungi. Her work focuses on education\, cultural context\, and responsible research into the mushroom’s historical and emerging relevance. \nDrawing from extensive personal study and formulation development\, Mel is now embarking on a national observational study within the fitness industry to explore the broader fitness/wellness behaviour and conversations around natural adaptogens and training strategies. \nKnown for bridging ancient wisdom with modern inquiry\, Mel is committed to dispelling myths\, promoting safe practices\, and creating space for informed dialogue about this powerful botanical—always within the boundaries of local law and ethical education.

SUMMARY:Walking Between the Worlds- San Pedro as Teacher & Guide to Surfing the Apocalypse
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Margaret Cross\, Plant Medicine Teacher/Healer\nAbout: The last 2 decades has seen a massive growth and curiosity into the Mystery of plant Medicines here in the disconnected West. The failure of western medicine to address the whole human being and the intricate interplay between physical\, mental and spiritual aliments has forced the more exploratory of the human clan to search outside the medical matrix for answers to their questions. Since the 60s people have been traipsing off into jungles\, deserts and mountains around the world following a deep internal knowledge that a whole unseen world existed beyond the walls of the familiar and that this unseen world held the answers they were seeking. \nI am one of those number. Like them\, some mysterious thing called me up from a restless slumber and promised me something more. Something that would heal me and help me transcend the invisible walls and programs that I was only starting to become aware of. Walls and programs that kept me on my hamster wheeling running the same path\, receiving the same outcomes for my actions. Blind to my true nature. Always in pain.\nSo\, driven by this pressure to look beyond the mundane\, I walked a path less trod. I took paths that just seemed to appear to me and in doing so I found my purpose\, my teacher and my Love. \nThis is deeply personal story of my 20-year relationship with San Pedro Cactus or Grandfather. In sharing this story\, I will give you a profound and compelling Insite into the multidimensional nature of his teaching and the wide-ranging benefits that come from having a loving balanced relationship with a Master plant teacher who has no human foibles to speak of. \nThis is particularly true right now because Grandfather has prepared me over the years for the reality of living in the Apocalypse season and what this means for humanity? Nobody actually wants to talk about the end of the bloody age\, especially if it’s happening at an inconvenient time…like when you are alive on planet earth!!! \nMost people are oblivious to the large cycles of time that rule their world and are\, as a consequence\, blind to the great shifts and turnings of the Ages. These are momentous\, challenging times and only the prepared are ready for the speeding up of time\, the dissolution of the world operating system and the huge earth changes that are accompanying the rebirth of Gaia and her children. As an awakened member of this shift into the 6th world I have been entrusted by the creator to support humanity during its time of transition and I Look forward to sharing the wisdom that has been given to me by my beloved Cactus Guru so that you to may surf the apocalypse with ease and grace. \nBio: Margaret is considered a trusted & grounded guide to exploring and working with plant medicines. Born is 1963 in a quite QLD cane town. Blessed with plenty of fresh air sunshine and clean\, healthy\, food she read early and developed a love of books and learning. First in the family to go to university\, she completed a Bachelor of Secondary Education\, Grad Diploma in Gender Studies and a Master’s in Criminology before dropping out of her PhD after a massive spiritual wakening that accompanied the implosion of her marriage and total 360 of her academic career.\nHer quest for self-realisation & the expansion of consciousness lead to her quitting her training as a Criminologist and embarking on an exploration of South American Shamanism and Curanderismo. She is a trained teacher\, criminologist and medicine woman who has assisted hundreds of humans to explore their gifts and limitations with the aid of master teacher plants like San Pedro\, Ayahuasca\, and Mushrooms. After 15 years of holding weekend retreats she took time off to live in Thailand during the height of con-vid. She is currently writing courses of study and exploration for home schooled kids and their parents that has been powerfully influenced by the time she has spent immersed in alternative healing and teaching models that are based on wisdom teaching and traditions of the world. As a grandmother and wisdom keeper she has a deep sense of duty to future generations and wants to see the New Earth in all its glory one day.

DESCRIPTION:Sometime in the mid 90s\, Chibo\, Bob and Michael walked into the Hemp Bar and decided that Mardigrass needed events which would entertain as well as educate\, and the Hemp Olympix were born!! \n11:30 am : Hemp Olympix registration\nRegister at Sativa Stadium for the Hemp Olympix! $2 Entry into all HEMP Olympix Events. \n \n12 pm : Tug O’ Drug Peace\nLegal Weed versus Bush Buds with the Big Hemp Rope! \nSadly the police have declined our invitation to compete in this famous event. Well\, it IS a bit embarrassing to keep losing to the stoners! Maybe they’ll change their mind\, but if not\, we’ll have a battle between those use legal weed and those who smoke bush buds. The tug is followed by . . . \n \n12.30 pm : Hemp Olympix Bong Throw & Yell and then the Growers Ironperson Events\nHosted by S Sorrensen and Alan Glover \nBong Throw & Yell: Entrants throw a bong full of stinking water as far as possible whilst yelling “Free the Weed!” or a similar sentiment. \n Watch the Bong Throw & Yell video\n  \nOver 50s Bong Throw & Yell: The older I get\, the better I was. \nGrowers Ironperson: Involves lugging a sack of fertiliser and buckets of water around the simulated growing area obstacle course with a tick and leech infested lantana tunnel. The men’s event is a 40kg sack while the women contend with an 18kg sack. The top 5 crawl into the final on Sunday. \nThe Dealer’s Nightmare – a new event since 2024: We’ve recently heard from the International HEMP Olympix Committee (IHOC) official S Sorrensen that a major change to the HEMP Olympix program has come down from IHOC HQ in Brussels. It seems several of last year’s Nimbin Iron Grower Person Event contestants had taken an inordinately long time to recover and one\, a medallist\, has still not recovered. IHOC official Alan Glover (yes\, there are two IHOC officials in Australia) said\, “While we are still battling the consequences of the drug war with illegal unregulated chemical drugs on the street\, the committee has decided this event must be suspended until the war is over and respect for drug use returns.” After due consideration by the IHOC\, plans are afoot for a replacement gold-medal event reflecting the change from outdoor to indoor growing\, another drug war impact. The Dealer’s Nightmare will be a team event testing quick and accurate reactions to police raids . . . check back for more details. \nIn exciting news\, the IHOC is also considering including Correct Weight as an official HEMP Olympix event this year after its growing popularity in the Fringe Olympix. Contestants aim to to fill a baggie with exactly 28.3 grams. Correct weight keeps the bag. Followed by the . . . \n \n2.30 pm : Fringe Hemp Olympix \nHosted by the Laugh Mob and Baldenstoned \nThis begins with the Beard and Dread Stash. How much can you hide in your hair anywhere? Followed by Correct Weight where contestants attempt to fill a baggie with as close to an ounce as possible\, 28.349 grams.  Seed Sorting\, and the crutch and wheelchair obstacle course where contestants will attempt to score a Licence To Care*. \n* Extremely rare and almost impossible to get in Australia! \n \n5 pm : HEMP Olympix Joint Rolling [in the Town Hall!]\nHosted by S.Sorensen and Alan Glover \nMust burn from one end to another! The 4 Categories: \nSpeed Roll – Roll a standard 3-paper joint as fast as you can. Joints must include a cardboard filter or will be judged incomplete. \nArtistic Roll – Roll the most beautiful joint within 10 minutes with as many papers as you like. \nRoll in the Dark – Athletes are blindfolded. \nAdverse Conditions Roll – Dependent on weather conditions on the day and the judges’ creativity. \n\nHEMP OLYMPIX – Sport with meaning                                      \nS Sorrensen \nIt’s difficult to determine exactly when the Hemp Olympix began. We know\, of course\, the modern Hemp Olympix began in 1896 in Athens\, attended by 84 athletes\, 600 spectators and 2115 police. \nWe also know that the modern Hemp Olympix was the relighting of the original classical Hemp Olympix played at the base of Mount Olympus more than 2500 years ago\, when the Greeks chucked bongs in the nude\, joints were rolled with papyrus and the results recorded on vellum. \nCannabis has always been a key element in the evolution of humanity from tree-dwelling primate to upstanding human. \nSome evolutionary biologists speculate that the development of an opposable thumb in Homo habilis 2.3 million years ago was due to joint rolling. \nEvolutionary theorist Professor Niger Umber theorises that it was in order to harvest the top heads of Cannabis sativa that caused the early human to stand upright. \nCannabis has been essential part of the human story. And so too has sport. Hence the Hemp Olympix. \nIn 776 BC\, the first official Hemp Olympix was held at Olympia\, in Greece. Featuring the three traditional sporting disciplines – Bong Throw & Yell\, Iron Growerperson Event and Joint Roll – these games were held every four years in honour of Zeus\, the God of Competition\, and Cannabi\, the Goddess of Pot. The athletes\, from all over the known world\, performed naked\, and the winners were given a wreath of Cannabis leaves as a prize to be enjoyed later. \nThe first modern Hemp Olympix was held in Athens\, Greece\, in 1896. \nThe International Hemp Olympix Committee (IHOC)\, formed in 1894\, determined that the modern Hemp Olympix would be an event open to all nationalities and genders to celebrate sport\, Cannabis and the human body. \nThe 1896 Athens Hemp Olympix was a huge success. \nAfter that first Hemp Olympix\, the Games flourished\, being held every four years\, as was the ancient custom. But the IHOC decided in 1904 that the Hemp Olympix would be held in different towns and cities around the world. \nThe Hemp Olympix now attracts teams from around the world\, from Portugal (where Cannabis is legal and the Portugese Hemp Olympix team is funded with money saved from dropping the War on Drugs) to Russia (where war and government are funded by the War on Drugs). \nIn May\, 1993\, the Hemp Olympix was held for the first time in Australia\, in a village called Nimbin\, as a sporting resistance to a tyrannical suppression of the burning bush funded by climate change denial and alcoholic dementia. \nSince then\, 135 countries have hosted the Hemp Olympix. \nNimbin has vowed to host a MardiGrass Hemp Olympix every year until the ridiculous laws of Cannabis prohibition are repealed. \nIn 2003\, two Australian blokes became international Hemp Olympix Officials\, having undergone their Integrity Assessment\, having passed their Knowledge of the Rules and Etiquette for the Games of the Hemp Olympix Examination\, and having received a very positive result in their Drug Test. \nAlan Glover and S Sorrensen now spend their time travelling to Hemp Olympix around the world\, making sure the rules and ethics of the games are adhered to. \nThey officiate at the annual Hemp Olympix at the Nimbin MardiGrass where athletes from around the globe compete for prizes\, glory and the sheer fun of it. \nYou too can celebrate all that is good in humanity\, make fun of all that is ridiculous (like the marijuana laws)\, and have stories to tell the kids\, by being a athlete in the Hemp Olympix. (Just sign up on the day at the Hemp Olympix Sign Up Table.) \nOr you can be a spectator and thrill to a 40-metre Bong Throw & Yell\, have your breath taken away at the speed and grace of a sub-20-second Joint Roll or shake your head at the strength and determination of an Irongrower Person. \nYou can also delve more deeply into the history\, the characters\, and the rules of the Hemp Olympix by purchasing ‘A Spectator’s Guide to the Hemp Olympix’ from the Nimbin Hemp Embassy. \nThrow bong\, live long.

SUMMARY:The science and justice of Australia's roadside drug testing programs
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Dr Michael White\nAbout: In my presentation\, I briefly describe the history and conduct of Australia’s roadside drug testing (RDT) programs. I then explore the impairing effects of cannabis\, and the crash risks from its recent use. I provide evidence that most of the convicted drivers who test positive to delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are not impaired; and I ask how it is possible that such a high level of ‘false positive’ convictions can be justified. \nI consider the use of medicinal cannabis (MC) as a special case. According to the TGA: “patients should be advised that they are not able to drive while treated with MC”. I provide evidence that the risks from appropriate use of MC are vanishingly small (much less than for opioids or benzodiazepines). I argue that the drug-driving laws should be harmonized (with those for other psychoactive medicinal drugs) by abandoning the offence of THC-positive driving for legally prescribed users of MC. \nBio:  I am a behavioural scientist with an interest in the translation of research findings into policy\, where political and economic pressures can easily distort the truth. I am currently interested in the role of cannabis in road crashes. I was previously involved in vision research\, and especially in an effect that is now called ‘White’s illusion’. I am also interested in the philosophy of science\, the philosophy of mind and moral philosophy. \nAbout 30 years ago\, as the Road-Safety Research Coordinator for the South Australian (SA) Department of Transport\, I was involved in an SA-based epidemiological study which found that the recent use of cannabis did not increase the risk of crashing. From 1998 to 2000\, I represented the SA Government on the national Austroads Drug Driving Working Group\, which advised against the introduction of drug-presence (‘per se’) driving offences. Around that time\, I was the Chair of the organizing committees for two of the early Australasian Road Safety Research Conferences. \nI am an author of six peer-reviewed journal articles on drug-driving\, and the lead author of the three most recent\, all of which are systematic reviews of the literature on different aspects of the road-safety risks from the acute use of cannabis. Over the last few years\, I have managed a briefing service for road-safety researchers and policymakers\, through which I provide regular commentaries on recently published papers on drug-driving. These briefings are now available as a compendium. \nI am a member of the Australasian College of Road Safety\, and of a College working group that is developing a Policy Position Statement (PPS) on Cannabis and Driving. In a similar vein\, I have recently drafted my own PPS on exemptions from cannabis-presence driving offences for medicinal users of cannabis\, which is a exemplar document that may be used by any agency as a starting point for their own PPS. I have provided expert witness testimony on the risks of THC-positive driving to parliamentary committees in New South Wales and South Australia. \nDavid Nutt is a world authority on the benefits and harms from the use of psychoactive drugs. He holds the Chair in Neuropsychopharmacology at Imperial College London\, and edits the journal Drug Science\, Policy and Law. He has introduced me to a colleague of his as a “world expert on the effects of cannabis on driving”. And in a recent message\, he thanked me for my “tremendous work that has underpinned so much of our teaching and policy work”. \nMy evidence-based opinion is that roadside drug testing (RDT) for THC is unjust\, as the majority of THC-positive drivers are not impaired. Given that medicinal use is even safer than recreational use\, my opinion is that RDT for medicinal cannabis is grossly unjust.

SUMMARY:Cannabis as a Psychedelic - the respectful use of this plant medicine for deep therapeutic enquiry
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Paul Benhaim\, Chief Cannabis Officer of Cannabis Psychedelics\nAbout: Cannabis is a true psychedelic. Despite consuming cannabis for 3 decades\, and working with this plant professionally for much of this time – it was only in the last few years that I realised how powerful cannabis can be when used intentionally for wellness\, healing and trauma resolution. This ‘technology’ can be blended with other technologies such as the use of frequency\, terpenes and psychology to provide a profound experience which some say is as powerful as DMT or Ayahuasca. Cannabis is safe and far more cost effective than MDMA or Psilocybin treatment in Australia and is available legally today in the Northern Rivers and throughout Australia. Learn more about what this therapy is and how it can help support your life and those of your loved ones. \nBio: Paul Benhaim has been working in the cannabis and hemp space for more than 2 decades. Founder of Hemp Foods Australia\, Elixinol and currently Chairman of The Hemp Plastic Company – Paul founded the modality of Cannabis Psychedelics in Australia. He has successfully trained up facilitators nationally with his friends -Doctors\, Psychologists\, Psychiatrists\, Historians and Cannabis experts globally. Based in the Northern Rivers\, Paul travels the world constantly and now works for the US Government to help support the growth of hemp globally.

SUMMARY:How we will win the war on weed - a green new deal
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Senator David Shoebridge\, Greens Senator for NSW\nAbout: The war on weed is a total buzzkill—it’s outdated\, expensive\, and everyone knows it doesn’t work. While other countries are cashing in on legal cannabis\, Aussies are still getting criminal records for owning a plant. It’s time to flip the script\, and the Greens are here to make it happen. \nJoin us for a chat on how we can finally legalise cannabis in Australia—and why the Greens are leading the charge. Greens Senator and Justice Spokesperson David Shoebridge has a fully costed plan to make it happen\, ensuring a safe and well-regulated market that benefits everyday Australians instead of organised crime. \nIn 2024\, the Greens introduced laws to legalise cannabis\, but the major parties voted them down—ignoring public support and the clear benefits of reform. But this isn’t the end. Momentum is growing\, and with enough public pressure\, we will make legal cannabis a reality. \nLegal cannabis means safer products\, no more pointless arrests\, and a fairer system. Under the Greens’ plan\, you’ll be able to buy it from licensed dispensaries and cafes or grow up to six plants at home. No more dodgy deals—just a safe\, smart\, and chill industry with an emphasis on quality and sustainability. \nImagine walking into a dispensary and choosing from a range of fair trade\, organically grown cannabis—free from harmful pesticides and produced by ethical\, small-scale farmers. The Greens’ plan prioritises locally grown\, high-quality cannabis that supports Aussie jobs while ensuring consumers know exactly what they’re getting. \nWe know it’s a question of when\, not if – so let’s make when now! \nBio: David Shoebridge is a Greens Senator for NSW and is the Australian Greens spokesperson on justice\, digital rights\, defence and veterans and migration. Before he joined the Senate he was an MP in the NSW Parliament and the chair of the Public Accountability Committee. As the Australian Greens Justice Spokesperson he brought the first ever bill to legalise cannabis at a national level to the Australian Parliament. This was voted down by Labor and the Coalition at the end of 2024 but more is planned in 2025. His office created the Sniff Off campaign and Facebook page which has now for a decade been advising people in NSW of locations of drug dogs being used to justify invasive strip searches. \n
