| The
Kombi Konvoy was established in 1996, to honour the Aquarian pioneers
arriving in 1973 for the Aquarius festival in Nimbin. It starts in Lismore, where our local court is based, following the Hemp Olympix TORCH which carries the flame for the victims of Cannabis Prohibition. The arrival of the Kombi Konvoy is the starting point for the opening ceremony in Peace Park, last year over 50 Kombi's took part. The Kombi Konvoy is fast becoming a very popular part of the Nimbin Mardi Grass. If you can't be there in person you can watch the event on this site during our live webcast.
