The 11TH Annual Nimbin Mardi Grass & Cannabis Law Reform Rally Programme
Most events are in Peace Park, unless it's wet, then the program (mostly) moves to Town Hall. We don't want to turn Peace Park into a mudbath like last year.

A weekend pass costs $20 and gives you access to Peace Park, the Town Hall and a 24 hour Pot Moviefest in Birth & Beyond - three venues.
Friday night's Opening Ceremony and Harvest Festival Ball is $5 entry, Saturday only $10, Sunday $10.

Buy the $20 pass and support cannabis law reform.

Four hours volunteering (two hours for toilet duty) gets you a weekend pass. We love and need volunteers, Mardi Grass has always been that way. Register at the Hemp Embassy.

Throughout the weekend, Nimbin's magic will be on show in unexpected locations continually, truly random events. As well, there is the MardiGrass Market in the Community Centre with a full daytime program onstage. Also at the market is PotArt in the Regional Gallery. Other locations have performers all weekend and are not to be missed, these include The Hemp Embassy and Hemp Bar, The Rainbow Cafe, The Nimbin Oasis Cafe, The Museum and Da Joint, the E-Bar and Environment Centre Chill and Music venue, Donato's Music Happening in Allsop Park (across from the pub).

The Town Hall is home to the Woodstock Film Festival who will be showing an extraordinary collection from their archives. They are here visiting Nimbin for the 30th Anniversary of the Aquarius which starts 11 May. Other events in the Town Hall are listed in the main program below.

Birth and Beyond, (across the road from the Town Hall and up a bit, then down a narrow passage!) is home to the all weekend Bizarre Film Club showing movies like the following:

  • Scream free
  • She should have said no
  • Wild in the Streets
  • Mary Jane
  • Reefer Madness
  • Assassin of youth
  • Marijuana -Roots in Hell
