Many entheogens are currently classed as illicit drugs in Australia. Laws, regulations, and policing behaviours make entheogenic practices riskier than they would otherwise be, and make their benefits less likely. Erik values his entheogenic experiences, and is concerned at how drug laws distort and constrain them. He believes that changing bad laws is simply something we need to get serious about doing. They're our laws after all, and even though politicking is tedious, Erik believes we need to get involved when it matters.
