I had a 15 year military career, followed by work as an emergency
services helicopter pilot before transitioning into consulting
in change and organisational development. I consulted for eight
years and have recently taken a study break. I'm studying shamanic
techniques for transformation, including sound healing and the
use of medicines.
How long have you been interested in integral perspectives
and what sparked your interest?
Most of my life. I was introduced to Wilber's work and Spiral
Dynamics in 2003 by a work associate, and recognised both as
true reflections of my personal experience.
What integrally-oriented books, teachers, seminars, websites
or other experiences have been most influential?
Ken Wilber, Don Beck, Christopher Cooke, Ron Laurie.
Do you have specific integral practices? If so, what are
they?
Taijiquan is my daily practice. Shamanism drawn from the South
American traditions. Music. Mystical studies through a mystery
school.
What kind of integral activities are you interested in
seeing happen on this network?
Information exchange.
