We are pleased to present some mind-bending action at the 28th MardiGrass Hemposium. There is an impressive line-up of speakers who will share their medical cannabis expertise and experiences, and reveal the campaigns and gains made in other cannabis loving communities around the planet.<\/p>

7.30 pm<\/b>\u00a0:<\/b> Great Green Cabaret<\/strong><\/a><\/h2> The spectacular Great Green Cabaret on Friday 1 May at Nimbin Hall will feature an action packed, fast paced, whirl of performance artists with wonderful globe trotting duo the Hussy Hicks, Tuntable Falls Youth Circus, Ganga Faeries, Pagan Love Cult<\/strong>, stand up comic Peter Willey<\/strong>, flamenco trio Arte Gitana<\/strong>, Irish singer Willy McElroy<\/strong>, mime artist Jean-Paul Bell<\/strong>, poet\/host David Hallett<\/strong>\u2026and more. \u00a0 This is a family friendly 90 minute show. Nimbin Ganja Faeries Burlesque Cabaret performing to an Electro swing version of the original 1920\u2019s prohibition song \u201cLight Up\u201d by Buster Bailey & the Rythm Busters, electrified by Skeewiff. Just goes to show the more things change the more they stay the same.<\/p>

8 pm : <\/b>Stand Up Comedy<\/a> Show<\/h2>

It’s a long-standing tradition that Saturday night at MardiGrass means Cannabis Comedy. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Glover and Sorrenson<\/a>, this year Cannabis Comedy presents special guest comedian, Tommy Dean and not just Steady Eddy but the Steady Eddy Band!<\/p>

Glover & Sorrensen<\/strong> is a two-handed stand-up comedy act that combines the talents of two comedians \u2013 Alan Glover and S Sorrensen \u2013 bouncing off each other (verbally mostly; physically sometimes) combining their wealth of material with unpredictable, spontaneous improvisation. This double act has entertained audiences all over this wide, drying land \u2013 but the dynamic duo loves returning to S’s tribal land for MardiGrass. Alan and S are also international sporting officials, officiating at and commentating on the MardiGrass Hemp Olympix.<\/p>
