Nimbin’s fantastic Great Green Cabaret returns for 2025 MardiGrass!
Featuring an amazing array of performance artists including international headline acts, singers and musicians, acrobats, dance ensembles, comedians, poets, and possibly a Ganja Faerie or two.
Mardigrass will begin with another BIG Great Green Cabaret on Friday evening 2 May. There will be a chance to dance with the finale by crowd favourites The Hoochers featuring Miss Jodie Digney. The show will also feature music by Andrea Soler & Tim Tonkin, the Smugglers, Lil FLunk and Jocelyn Freeman. Plus React Circus and Nimbin acro artiste Hartje, Brisbane performance poet Angela Peita, stand up comedian Odette, the wonderful Ganga Faeries, poet/host David Hallett and more.
No pre-booking. Doors open at 7pm, and first in/best seated. Show starts 7.30. Dinner and supper available.
You need a MardiGrass Golden Bud pass to get into this extraordinary show each year organised by Nimbin’s Poet Laureate, David Hallett.
The $30 Locals ticket gets you into all the MardiGrass events for the whole weekend. $60 for others. Got to be the cheapest protestival ever!
