John Jiggens
John Jiggens is a writer and journalist who has published several
books including The Incredible Exploding Man: Evan Pederick
and the trial of Tim Anderson [Samisdat, 1991] Marijuana Australiana:
Cannabis Use, Popular Culture and the Americanisation of Drugs
Policy in Australia 1938 - 1988 [HEMP, 2001], The Sydney Connection:
Nugan Hand, Murray Riley and the murder of Donald Mackay [NIMM,
2004] and, with Jack Herer, the Australian version of The Emperor
Wears No Clothes:Hemp and the Marijuana Conspiracy [ HEMP, 1995]
.Along with Matt Mawson, Anne Jones and Damien Ledwich, he edited
The Best of The Cane Toad Times [Toadshow, 2005]. He has recently
republished The Sydney Connection and is currently rewriting
his work on the Aquarius Festival, Rehearsals For the Apocalypse.
