Bluntfield
Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, this west coast MC draws a heavy current for his lyrical charge from the anti-establishment film heroes of his 1980s childhood and comic legends Bill Hicks and George Carlin. He cites his musical influences from international rap recording artists such as Cypress Hill, KRS-One, Redman and spoken word poet/rapper Sage Francis and through Australian hip hop artists Drapht, Horrorshow, Seth Sentry, Bliss n Eso and Mantra.
Darky Roots
Darky Roots are impressing audiences all around the pacific with a diverse repertoire of music, sweet harmonies, vintage horn section and heavy drum and bass, and with their clever and extremely catchy song writing, they are being played on airwaves all around the world. Darky Roots have toured Australia and New Zealand pretty hard, and are planning to take their music to the rest of the globe as soon as possible. Guthrie is a blues inspired Reggae & Roots composer from Shoalwater, Western Australia. Neo Classical-Alt rock trio Mecha Mecha, consists of brothers Angelo Webb (Drums) and Walter Webb (various instruments and singer) perform high energy and melodic rock tunes accompanied by the harmonies, violin and bass playing of Isaac Vincent, optimising their live shows to pack a punch and dance floors. Sporting a traditional three piece rock line-up spawning music influenced by big name 90s acts such as Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and Tool, or harmoniously incorporating violin or keys to allow for a greater sonic variety, Mecha Mecha relishes in the power of heavy-hitting, blues-inspired grooves. Their chord progressions and melody lines reflect frontman Walter’s childhood exposure to traditional Hungarian folk and gypsy music. P.Smurf (Lorenz Prichard) is a celebrated hip hop MC and co-founder/manager of Big Village. Having established strong repute through his collaborative projects, Daily Meds, Reverse Polarities and Sketch the Rhyme, P.Smurf is currently focused on his solo act and forthcoming debut album ‘Playing The Blues’, due out April 2018. His charismatic style of socially and politically charged lyrics, delivered with ferocity and percussive flows, have earned him a loyal fanbase. In the last 5 years he has released two solo mixtapes, an EP and a 7” vinyl, while touring extensively across Australia as both a solo artist and with his respective groups. As a founding member of Daily Meds, P.Smurf was integral to their successful release, Happy Daze. The album was shortlisted in the top 9 of the 2012 Australian Music Prize and was FBi‘s Sunsets “Album of the Week”. The single “Insane” was added to Triple J high rotation and the group won Triple J Unearthed’s “Come Together” Festival in 2011.

Along with putting in limitless time writing and recording singles to release monthly, the legend has also been on the road, supporting international artists like PHFAT, ONYX and Chris Webby, as well as iconic Australian Hip-Hop sensations including but not limited to Drapht, Smizzy and Complete on their national tours. His greatest accomplishments to date would be performing as support act on Drapht’s Seven Mirrors Tour in 2016 alongside Dylan Joel & Marksman Lloyd and featuring on the Smizzy “The Cover Re-Rapped” Album which gained massive media attention late 2017.
