Located inland of Byron Bay and to the North of Lismore, Nimbin is easily accessed by car. Nimbin is within a 1.25 hour drive of both the Gold Coast and Byron Bay and 30 minutes from Lismore.

Nimbin’s closest airport is Lismore Regional Airport [13 17 13] serviced by Regional Express Airlines (REX) and is 30 minutes from Nimbin. REX offers passengers 52 flights per week between Sydney and Lismore.

The Ballina-Byron Gateway Airport is located 1 hour from Nimbin.

The closest international airport is the Gold Coast Airport in Coolangatta, Queensland. It is 90 minutes drive from Nimbin.

The Nimbin Shuttle runs buses from Byron Bay to Nimbin daily. Gosel’s Bus Company runs buses from Murwillumbah Mon-Fri. Several coach and bus operators provide services to Lismore from major centres throughout Australia and the region. Wallers Bus Company service the route from Lismore to Nimbin.
