As part of the Magickal Nimbin Mardi Grass 2018 we will be hosting an open stage on our outdoor stage with some of our favourite local musicians. Lots of wonderous music on offer for free in our gorgeous gardens by the magical Mulgum Creek. Our Cafe has a brand new Bush Foods-Asian Fusion menu, so come on down and try it out! We are a calm oasis in Nimbin if you need to have a break from the main street!

The TLE cypher Hip Hop Collective will be rocking the Nimbin Bush Theatre as part of the Mardi Grass celebrations. From 7pm witness some of the most cutting edge music that the Brisbane Hip Hop community has to offer. 6 different Hip hop legends will have you dancing, thinking and shining. Have you got something to say? Want to hear what the youth are thinking, feeling and celebrating? Be there! $15 entry or armband.

MARDI GRASS BLISSFUL MORNING CONCERT
A beautiful scene is growing and evolving at The Nimbin Bush Theatre every Sunday morning at 10am until 12pm. Accomplished local musicians have begun a series of Sunday morning concerts as a way to ease blissfully into the day. Every Sunday the collective known as Sonic Bliss play a mixture of Asian, Celtic and other world traditions to create a stunning sonic feast for the ears, Incorporating vocals, Tabla, Celtic Harp, Harmonium and other exotic stringed and percussive instruments, these elder musicians are greatly skilled in creating an ambience of blissful calm. The music created is of a Romani meets Indian meets folk sound and is absolutely beguiling and serene. The Cafe serves a range of delicious breakfast options, award winning coffees and local Chai. What better way to begin your Sunday as in the gorgeous riverside gardens as the sun rises over the trees? If you need to begin your Sunday gently to the sounds of world class musicians creating beautiful music, this is an tradition not to be missed.
